The Kovsies HIV/AIDS Centre is situated at the Kovsie Health and Counselling building at the UFS Main Campus and offers an environment free of stigma, welcoming students and staff to test for HIV, receive any information on HIV or related topics and offering various programmes and courses. The Centre coordinates the institutional response to HIV/AIDS and focuses on providing staff, student and community focused support. Students and staff are invited to be involved in the peer education programme aimed at training, mentoring and providing opportunities for empowerment in HIV/AIDS prevention work.

We offer free HIV testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 – 13:00. No need to make an appointment. We work on a first come, first serve basis.
